Safety information

Important: Sections of the itinerary run along the  alpine skiing runs. We recommend you keep to the edges of the trail to not hinder oncoming skiers.

Experience walking along irregular mountain trails is recommended. In the event of fresh snow, snowshoes are also recommended. Be careful of ice when temperatures are particularly low. As you might imagine, the accessibility of these mountain trails depends entirely on the conditions found at any given time, such as the weather and other natural and environmental conditions. Therefore, before you set out, you should check the status of the trail by contacting alpine guides, lodge operators, or the local tourist office or park information office.

Turn-by-turn directions

From Madonna di Campiglio take the Spinale cable car to the top of Monte Spinale. From Rifugio Dosson (Chalet Fiat) go down alongside the ski slope (nr. 71, Boch) for about 300m. Then take the track on the rightwards, direction Boch. Continue by following a section in common with route 10, reach Lago Spinale and then, Camp Centener, 2.080m. From here turn left and head north across the big flat zone, descending a slight ridge towards the Grostè ski area. After a few dozen meters of descent a ground leads to the forestry road normally used by tracked service vehicles. Shortly and slightly uphill you arrive near Rifugio Boch. To return to Madonna di Campiglio follow the same route backwards.

Public transport

Served by the Madonna di Campiglio Skibus (Spinale stop) or the Trentino Trasporti bus line (Spinale stop).

By road

Go to the south of Madonna di Campiglio and follow the signs for “Cabinovia Spinale”. Park your car here and take the lift to the starting point for the itinerary.
