A lovely, lightly trafficked itinerary that isn’t excessively long to enjoy the views and landscapes from Doss del Sabion to Valagola Lake.
This hike of intermediate difficulty takes you from Doss del Sabion, which can be reached by lift, to the stunning Valagola Lake.
The itinerary starts high up in the alpine pastures then descends gradually to the banks of the lake in the Valagola valley between Doss del Sabion, Cima Nardis and Fracinglo.
Valagola Lake is an ideal spot to spend a day immersed in the lush forests and breathtaking views of the Brenta Dolomites. The crystal-clear waters of the lake change color as the day wears on, from intense blues through to varying hues of green.

From Pinzolo, take the ski lift to the summit of Doss del Sabion and then continue straight down to the eastern corner.
Take trail SAT 357 and than the 324 to the Valagola lake.
Note
Public transport
You can reach Pinzolo by the Trentino Trasporti buses. The bus top is just in front of the lifts of Doss del Sabion.
