2,446 m
1,734 m

Those who started the trek from Malga Tuena by leaving the car at Lago di Tovel has now the possibility to shorten the loop and quickly reach the Malga in 4:30 hours walk. From Passo Grostè the Sentiero delle Palete path runs above Lago di Tovel and crosses an extremely wild area leaving behind the southern part of the Brenta Dolomites. This path is very steep in some parts and it is fitted with some metal cables and ladders and therefore is suitable for experienced hikers only.

Author’s recommendation

The path has been constructed and facilitated with ladders and metal cables only as far as the Bocchetta delle Palete. The rest of the route is waymarked, but has very steep slopes and frequent strenuous altitude gains.
