Val Genova Tour
An itinerary featuring waterfalls, farmhouses and mountain lodges taking you from Pinzolo up to Val Genova, one of the most beautiful valleys of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, and back again.
This itinerary of intermediate difficulty runs from Pinzolo to Rifugio Bebole along the 18 km of Val Genova. The route is not particularly technical and so can be enjoyed even by inexperienced cyclists, including on e-bikes to make the trip even easier. This valley, nestled in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, is home to countless waterfalls, farmhouses and mountain lodges and features many artifacts from World War I, when this valley, then under the rule of the Austro-Hungarian empire, served as the point of access to the Adamello front.

Continue straight at the bridge along the paved road, which will take you to the bridge in the village of Antica Vetreria.
Continue along the paved road for about 500m until the Madonna del Potere chapel.
Turn left onto Via Negrelli and continue on for about 100m, then turn left onto Via Santo Stefano.
Continue along the partially paved road for about 700m until the Santo Stefano church, then continue straight along the dirt road for about 900m until the road becomes paved again.
From here the road remains paved for about 14 km until Malga Bedole before becoming a dirt road again for the 1 km to Rifugio Bedole.
Along this route, you will see (in order): the Nardis falls, the Lares falls, the village of Ragada, the Folgorida falls, the Casina Muta falls, Malga Caret, the Pedruc falls, Malga Bedole and, in the distance, the Matarot falls and the valley’s 5 mountain lodges.
The return trip back down into the valley is the same, with the exception of the one-way streets around the reservoir at the bottom.
